Dear FANCO Members,
The FANCO Scholarship is open to high school senior children of FANCO members and to any
high school students of Filipino American ancestry studying in Marin, Sonoma or Solano Counties.
The FANCO Scholarship Committee requires the student applicant to send the following:
The scholarship award of $1,000 will be granted to two deserving college-bound high school senior applicants.
Scholarship applications must be submitted by MAY.
Scholarship awardees will be announced in June.
Please note: Children of FANCO members will have first priority over other applicants.

The FANCO Scholarship is open to high school senior children of FANCO members and to any
high school students of Filipino American ancestry studying in Marin, Sonoma or Solano Counties.
The FANCO Scholarship Committee requires the student applicant to send the following:
- The official high school transcript of records
- A one page resume including high school accomplishments and volunteer work
- Two letters of recommendations from a current high school teacher and current high school principal.
- A 250-350 word essay responding to the question: “ As a young Filipino American, what facet of your cultural heritage are you most proud of and how do you think you will be able to utilize this in your college career and beyond.”
The scholarship award of $1,000 will be granted to two deserving college-bound high school senior applicants.
